“It’s a nice way to spend an evening. The food was not bad. The boat is fine but the view is not great since old town Vienna does not directly overlook the Danube. On one side you see modern buildings which are basically ugly blocks of cement and glass on the other side lines of monotonous trees. All in all, it’s like going to a regular dinner.”

“The boat was older, we had just done a dinner cruise in Prague....no comparison! This was soooo expensive! We were only able to book the cheaper dinner and the better dinner was available for $40 more. The food was ok, the service was excellent! Our server was kind and attentive! I asked for something that wasn't on the menu, and he was able to get a little bit for me. The onlt area to go outside was the rear and it was small and full of smokers. I would not do this again.”

“We were 5 minutes late but felt like 30. So I don't know if the time was wrong or if it was really THAT punctual. The tour/meal/concert was AMAZING!! Definitely made us feel like royalty. The concert was a little warm - which is hard to manage when it's cold outside and everyone is dressed in layers - just didn't feel appropriate to strip a layer off in such an elegant venue.”

“The commentary was interesting and relevant to what we could see. The air conditioning did not seem to he on, so everyone was hot and the whole bus windows steamed up. there was no rep on the bus to ask about this.”

“It is overrated based on what someone expects to see and to hear. The chair distribution is unacceptable creating many rows where only the expensive front vip rows have better view and acoustical access to the concert. The diagrams given when you buy the tickets are unclear”

“We had a lot of fun! The music was very good, a mix of modern and old; the food was excellent! Only dessert was a bit lacking; I had the apple strudel (which was excellent) and the tiramisu (which was frozen). Fireworks were super fun to watch and the whole way was enjoyable ☺️”

“This is a must do. Wolfi was incredible. He took us to several districts so we could get a real feel of Vienna. We experienced everything from authentic Vienna street food to a boutique hotel bar in the hipster district #7. If you do this your first night you’ll have a much better feel of the city.”

“This hotel is perfect for celebrating a special occasion. My daughter graduated from high school and we traveled to Salzburg to take in the sites associated with the Sound of Music. The hotel was extremely comfortable. The tour led by our tour guide, David, was out of this world. The daily breakfast on the balcony included stunning views and excellent food and service. One of the highlights for us was using bicycles to bike into town for lunch. The hotel has plenty of bikes. If your family enjoys the Sound of Music, I recommend this experience for a special occasion.”
