“It’s a nice way to spend an evening. The food was not bad. The boat is fine but the view is not great since old town Vienna does not directly overlook the Danube. On one side you see modern buildings which are basically ugly blocks of cement and glass on the other side lines of monotonous trees. All in all, it’s like going to a regular dinner.”

“It was such an easy way for us to see the places on our list in the Wachau Valley. It was extremely well organized and comfortable. Our guide was excellent and spoke several languages fluently. We really enjoyed it! Dürnstein was a little rushed but of course this is the nature of a day tour. There was a choice to buy lunch on the boat ride, or in the small town of Melk, before entering the Abbey. We strolled through the town and enjoyed a fresh sandwich from a bakery. It was a lovely day.”

“The boat was older, we had just done a dinner cruise in Prague....no comparison! This was soooo expensive! We were only able to book the cheaper dinner and the better dinner was available for $40 more. The food was ok, the service was excellent! Our server was kind and attentive! I asked for something that wasn't on the menu, and he was able to get a little bit for me. The onlt area to go outside was the rear and it was small and full of smokers. I would not do this again.”

“Because we waited for late-arriving guests for the boat ride to the palace, we were rushed to start the tour of the Magic Fountains, which are truly amazing. Thus we didn't have time to relax at all at the castle. Our boat and bus driver was a very engaging gentleman, and the rush was not his fault.”

“It was a very good day trip. Staff were helpful and friendly. Although the listing states that beverages are not included it is not stated at meal times etc when staff offer drinks so just a wee reminder that you will have to pay for these by the end of the trip. The 2 hours in Durnstein was enough for a little wander but as it was a Sunday not all places were open.”
